They make a great spare for underneath storage if you are running 33 X 12.5's. It gives a lot more ground clearance, but retains the overall diameter of a 33.

They are very popular on FJ40s.

Killer in the snow! I had 33 x 10.50's on my old truck in the snow and they kicked major butt. Not once did I get stuck. Then I got chains for them, and wow. I went every where in the snow.

to me, they are too narrow... i mean if you have enough lift to clear a 33, its best to widen the footprint a little bit as well

I think it all depends on the conditions where you wheel. For the sand dunes or desert they would suck, for driving on snowy roads they would be great. I think they would also be good on dirt or rocky trails.

I run the 33x10.50 M/T and loved how well they worked in the snow, mud, dirt and rocks.

Think tractor tires....

Cut through mud and snow and shallow sand on top of hard-pack but in deep sand they might sink. We love the 33x10.5's that's for sure, we've had them on most of our trucks at one time or another.

Not exactly the same, but close:

the tire rack measurements on these are 32.1x9.4x16 the bfg's are 32.7x9.5x15, so basically a half inch taller & more tire, less wheel with the 15" rims. Mine has no lift, though I think it needs just a little.
