265/75 on Ivan Stewart TRD Wheels stock 3rd Gen 4Runner?
I searched for about 2 hours this morning and never found this combo mentioned.
Has anyone tried 265/75 tires on the Ivan Steward TRD Wheels on a stock 3rd gen 4Runner without having to cutting, banging, or rubbing?
The IS TRD wheels are 16x8 which is an inch wider than the stock wheels, that's the only reason I ask as I know 265/75s fit on stock wheels just fine.
I think the answer to my question is yes they'll fit, but I hope someone else had tried it before I plop down the cash and get surprised.

I read over RockSlide's truck info earlier today, but he's got a 2.5" lift on the front and 3" on the back.
Mine's still stock height and I didn't plan on adding a lift at present.

I installed the wheels and tires a few months after my susp lift...but before my BL.

Wish I could say that wheel/tire combo would fit a stock '02 w/o rubbing, but I'm like you...I can only assume they would, but I don't know for sure.
FWIW, I just rolled 43K on these tires and they're still doing great.

they do seem to rub the A arms with the rubber. I believe wheel spacers are the solution.
I have since taken them off my 99 Runner with OME881s (front) and 2" body lift, and they are for sale!
edit-sold days later-body lift is 2"

Hi,
Where are these wheels made? US or Japan? Is there a stamp on the wheel that indicates which country it was manufactured in?
i read somewhere that it is very similar to the Niche Throttle wheels so it may be made by Niche. Does Niche have its manufacturing plant in the US?
Thanks!

others seem to agree they are the niche throttle rims
I'm in agreement with others that corrosion is an issue and the center caps are almost worthless.
I ran them on my 99 for about 4 months but the rubbing of the tires against the upper control arm was worrying me.
