16" to 15" Wheel on 1998 4Runner SR5 4x4
I did a forum search and didn't find an answer, so I wanted to ask this question: Will I have any issues going from a stock 16" wheel on my 1998 4Runner SR5 4x4 to a 15" wheel? I want to get the Cragar Soft 8s, and the backspacing on the 16" isn't correct (I'd like 4").
I just ordered some new Raybestos rotors and there was a different part number for the stock 16" wheel, so I thought I'd better ask. Many thanks for any help.

Well you have to tune your searching skills just a bit. A 15' wheel is not going to fit over the calipers if you had a 16' wheel to start. Some may say you can grind the caliper and or wheel but it really isnt worth it.

im having the same issues...my 4runner has the 12.5" rotors... i recently got a great deal on some 31" BFG mud terrians, they came with the stock steel
15" 4runner rims...ive read that i can either get wheel spacers? or grind the brake calipers to fit? no thread says what size spacer?..will a 1.5" spacer be enough to clear the rotors?
