10.5 or 12.5

so i have 32/1150/15 on my ride currently. i have been wanting to go up to a 33 and was debating on how wide to go. what do you gain from a wider tire or a thinner tire.

Thinner is better in most offroad situations because it applies more pressure to the ground. Less surface area to spread out the weight. = more traction. wider looks 'Cooler' if you ask me.
