This past Fri. was seriously gusty going down the freeway with the stock 31s. I think I'm gonna go with 33X10.5s for better clearance and I can keep my stock rims (saves $$$ too in many ways). To those who have them on their trucks, with 2-4" lifts, how much more unstable -- if at all -- does the truck feel on really windy days as well as off road?

I always thought the extra 2" of section width on a 12.5 would add stability with the increased overall height and centre of gravity despite the drawbacks.

10.50s our light toyotas do better with skinny tires. With wide tire you just sit on top and spin, narrow tires you dig down and grip and go.I dont really care for my 12.50s performance. The tires would be much better if they were 10.50s

All helpful info. Again, I really like the fact I can use my factory (meaning, fit perfectly, no ifs, ands or buts) steel rims. Also, no need for flares.
