Next generation ARB fridge/freezer

Good review from a guy over at Expo's forum.
http://www.myfjcruiser.org/1575/

What is cool about it is that is has a digital temp adjustment setting.
Set it, and that is what the fridge goes to.
With mine, I turn the dial and hope for the best.
I do keep an eye on mine and once it is dialed to the right spot, the temp never waivers, it stays right at the 35 to 36 degrees for the safe food temp zone.

Link to the new fridge at ARBs site.

I will not be selling mine anytime soon though, I am very happy with it.
Also the current slide trays and Transit Tray like I have will not fit the new style.

They will be available before to long though here in the USA.

thanks for this link Corey- an excellent article! It's definitely going with me on the trip I'm planning in August! Moving away from the Seattle area means that I'll have to stock up at ARB will-call in Renton! (I know you're used to doing that too!)

If you head down there sometime, you should give me a shout since I work just down the road from them.

Hey that sounds like a great idea Corey. When I drive out there to pick up my big order (arranged through Phil+Jacque), maybe we can head into the shop together, and/or grab some lunch before or after. I've got lots of questions about using the fridge, also about the recovery gear that I plan on picking up that day. It's going to be a good day! Thanks for the invite Corey! I always love my trips to the ARB warehouse, I always catch glimpses of the beautiful trucks being modified inside, and the parking lot is always filled with heavily modded rigs, usually with front bumpers, winches, air lockers front and rear, saw the official 'ARB Runner' last time I was there, also a fantastic FJ40. Some jeeps tho, gotta take the good with the bad I guess!!

Yes, a few Jeeps are there.
Seth owns this one.
He has it heavily modded, and one time when I was there they were putting the ARB roof top tent on it.

Everytime I end up down there David Zartman owner of 4WD Toyota Owner magazine is there too.
He picks up a lot of gear from there for their projects.
