This bridge is a single lane suspension bridge built in 1912 and refurbished in 1986. Relatively famous around here civil engineering, archetectual and survey students make "pilgrimages" every year.

heh, rotorhead, indeed I am =)

was working on my instrument cert when my instructor snapped those shots on his cellphone. I spent most of that flight under the hood, =(

but ofcourse did get to enjoy the view somewhat ..just dont tell my CFI I was cheating.

Today, the bees like the Rose of Sharon tree, get pollen covered and spend the next few minutes cleaning themselves enough to fly (and see) again.

Yeah... and how do you pronounce TUOLUMNE anyway? 2-O-LUMIN-E? just askin'...

Too-ollo-me .. Basically like that. Well, thats how everyone I know pronoucnes it. We used to go camp up there a lot when I was a kid. If the bears don't get your food up there, the yellow jackets will!! I hate yellow jackets with a passion !!
