Question First film camera

Wow great pictures!

I just picked up my first Film camera from a local pawn shop. Thought I'd get a new hobby so went out and got me a Minolta X-370 for 20$

Man is photography more complicated then just pointing and shooting! Ive been learning (slowly) about aperture and shutter speed and all but still get hazy and blurred exposures. It's very frustrating. The camera came with a Sigma Mini-Tele 1:3.5 f=135mm Multi-coated Lens, Tiffen 52mm UV-Haze filter and Pentax af160 flash (Havent used flash yet). I also have 52mm neutral density, polarized, and ultra violet bower Filters. I'm assuming I'm using the wrong shutter speed...and maybe a tripod would help? I'm looking for ANY advice I can get!

The bower filters say "digital" on them...Does this mean I can only use these on a digital camera?

Is it bad to use the UV and Polarized filter together?

These where taken using the Bower Polarized filter with ISO 400. Any tips for a beginner? Anyone else using a film camera?

The same Picture with different shutter speed and aperture.(Don't remeber f/# or shutter speed)

Any idea what the line through the middle of the picture is?

sorry for posting so many but I'm just really frustrated and would like some feedback.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

My aunt gave me her old Dslr when she bought her new one.. It is a Fujifilm I forget the model number but I have a few pics with it, and a few with my HTC Evo
This one was with my Dslr on our way back from Hilton Head, SC this is completely undedited!

This one was taken with my Dslr in Hilton Head on the beach... I did not have a tripod with me so there is a little vibration in the picture. Also, it was taken at 1030 at night!

This one was taken with my HTC Evo from our fishing boat out on the ocean!

Taken with my Evo in Parker, CO

I think that is enough for now! I am an amatuer photographer so structural criticism is accepted and very much appreciated! P.S. I have stuff on my sensor, that is why my pictures from my camera are speckles on them!

I just found this thread. Nice shots everyone. Here are some of my 'yota related shots from the last several months. Most of these were taken with my Canon 7D, 24-105 F4 lens:

This is from a camping trip and drive up to the top of Calispell Peak in northeastern WA state, 8/28/11:

Our campsite at 6500 feet at sunset:

Orion disappearing at sunrise from the campsite. Pend Oreille Valley in the background below.

Another hobby of mine is bike races. Here's two shots from a road race, on gravel roads, that we put on every April:

Great shots Mike. What length lense did you use on the bike shots. And do you fiddle with slow shutter speeds to get motion blur?

Thanks for the feed back The first bike shot was using a Canon 100-400, set at about 200 mm. The second shot was just my 24-105 zoom, probably at around 50 mm. Both were shot at about 1/500 sec exposure. I have fiddled with slow shutter speeds for a different effect, but lately I've been more interested in capturing the action.
