thats a real photo. Go to www.andyandersonphoto.com and go into the "stock" images link On the lower right is says "sporting life" Go to "fishing" and scroll to the end to see the rest of those. Also in "sports" the one of the guy on the rock with the surfboard is me. Same day same swell.
Andy Anderson is as crazy as I am
Here is a photo of me by Christopher Wilson http://christopherwilsonphotography.com/ go to surfing on his site. Those are me. Those photos inspired Andy Anderson to do similar stuff..

Wow Andy has some amazing fishing pictures. His Portfolio is set up really well. Kind of a broad mix of things that really shows his mastery.
How did that feel to have waves crashing down on you with a fishing pole in your hand?

It was kinda scary.
Being in a wetsuit with 30 ft seas crashing all around is one thing. Being in waders and fishing gear with 30 ft seas crashing all around is a whole different deal. I like Christopher Wilson's work far more than Andy Anderson. And Christopher is a really really cool guy.
That surf photo by Christopher Wilson just one a spot in Communication Arts Illustrator http://www.commarts.com/fresh/christopher-wilson.html and in Photo Annual it is in that as well. It has won quiet a few awards..

Ok so these are not the greatest but the best I could do at the time...I took these with a Panasonic Lumix while we were on vaca at Myrtle.
During that storm 3 people were struck just 1/4 mile south of us and one bolt hit right over head which sent everyone running!
