00 scpi 4.3 swap
aquired a 00 bravada for free with a good running drive-train. looking to swap into my 1985 pickup. wanting to keep my w56 trans. 4.88s. swap should be fairly easy mounting wise with the aa adapters and homemade parts. getting to the running side and wiring of the engine. im looking ahead for problems such as, the donor is an automatic car and im keeping the manual trans. will a Howell harness and tuning get the engine running to optimal performance? tuning as deleting the vss which im almost certain being a obdII engine wont work right without it? any other tips would be greatly appreciated. i will aslo be starting a build thread in the next few weeks for everyone that would like to stay updated on the progress.

There is a lot of info out there. My sugguestion is do a lot of research before you start. Thats what I did. You will definitely have to have the computer flashed to get rid of the security features in it.

yes definitely, I have been collecting my fair share of bibles before this build. I have a game plan set out for the majority of the build. Im down to just a couple things im trying to get my hands on some info just to simply the project. Going to start this weekend by pulling the 22r out of the 85. going to be slow going the first couple weeks. driveway needs gravel and shop needs a new door. Curse of buying a house that needs some property work done. but i will start the build thread in a week or so.
