Howdy, new to the forums. I have an 85 Toyota pickup with a 1.6 TD swap. Currently with a compound turbo setup. I have scoured my Haynes manual and can’t find the answer I need. Do these year tru is have an exciter wire for the alt? And would anyone have any better info on wiring schematics for these trucks. I’m trying to keep everything working in the truck being that the motor only takes very little to run. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

a little more on the truck. It’s been lowered as far as it can without removing the stock fuel tank. 2” drop spindles and torsion bars turned down for the front, and the rear is a custom coilover setup. 14” BBS wheels it’s slower than molasses in the winter but roughly gets 45mpg. Any other questions about the build I’d love to answer any questions.
