341e,aw4,340f

ALright I know there is a thread somewhere around here that had all my answers, if someone knows the thread, or just wants to give me there answer, that would be appreciated..
I'm going to be doing a 1uz swap in my runner, I'm trying to figure out the transmission delema, I have seen somewhere someone buy a 340f, take the valve body from the 341e and put it into the 340f.. I'm trying to figure out how to make the 341e end with the aw4 tail housing, I plan on running an atlas case and want all the crap to work.. Sorry if this seems like a bunch of babbling idk exactly what I'm talking about..

At the moment I don't really care what side drop that would all be on the atlas I buy..
But I think I'm more comprehensive right now and can actually ask the question..
I have access to all 3 transmissions, I know I could go 341e to inchworms adapter yadda yadda but that's kind of pointless to me, I can get a 340f swap the valve body out of the 341e to keep the firm shift points, and get a adapter from aa to an atlas, or I can take the tailhousing of the aw4, the spline count is the same but the shafts are bigger and has the 6bolt round that I need to keep away from buying any adapters, my main concern is the wiring, I know the computers are picky and like everything hooked up to them, anyone know how I can do said project?
Also rma the aw4 and the a3xx where all made by aisin, there ideally the same casing with slight changes everything can be swapped around..

if your gonna stay auto , you should try to keep the lexus auto .. the a340f rear extension housing will bolt to the lexus auto then all you need is the aa adapter to the atlas .. no need to open up the trannies and switching valve bodies and much easier to wire up to the ecu.

I need help with a 98 4runner Limited 4WD with a 340F transmission. It hard shifts from OD to 3rd back and forth several times. With OD off, it shifts fine. ECT Temperature sensor resistance is 700 ohms at operating temp which is a little high. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution. In the process of checking the other sensors first and solenoid resistance.
