As I move into the next stage I need to change the corssover to a drivers drop finally. I was thinking of using TSO but a question.

Are you still able to use the factory downpipe? Do they "flip" the mounting flange so it is still bolt on? Any good pics to post?

Yes the factory 3.4 downpipe. It is still a bolt on? Doesnt the flange on the downpipe have to cut, rotated, and rewelded?

Reason I ask I that I want it to look as factory as posible for future smog inspections.

Post up some pictures please.

On a buddy's he just took the crossover off, cut it up, flipped it around, mocked it up and rewelded. Took about 2 hours and works like a charm.

Ya I saw that. I have no interest in making my own though. My welding skills suck.

thanks

I ordered from them, and it worked out great. I'm using the driveside drop, and passed the bar perfect with it. The flange is flipped the corect way to work with the factory down pipe.

I passed the San Diego Ref, with the driverside drop! The only thing they are looking for is disconnected sensors, cat carb legal to engine etc... the guy didn't care which side it came down from.

They have pictures on their site of the crossover. They're a very reliable company. No doubt i'll be buying a crossover from them.

A lil ways down is the pic of the crossover they built for me before they even had their website. I contacted them just through a craigslist ad, actually. I don't have the vehicle here or internet on my comp right now, so I can't get you a picture of the stock o2's or cat, but on that same page there I have the finished exhaust pics, you can see the original 3.4 pipe welded to the new. Mine's the stock to the 2nd o2 and cat from a '00 Tacoma, for reference.

Pull the trigger and buy it. Now that Downey's out of business, I've given up hope of headers, and their piece is well built.
