Finally after about 4 months of working on this swap in my spare time after work it fired off tonight. I'm about as happy as a pig in ˟˟˟˟! Tomorrow I'll build my crossover and install radiator and fan and tidy up my wires and hoses and I'll be doing my test ride swapped a 3.4 from a 96 4runner 2wheel auto into a 90 extra cab 3.0 manual I used the 3.4 auto ecm I'll just have to deal with the check engine light being on I used the manual ecm at first but was never able to get injector pulse or spark my guess ecm was damaged during install so I wired this thing twice.my advice to anyone doing this swap research, read threads ,collect all the paperwork you can put your hands on ,wiring diagrams for both specific vehicles ,pinouts,connector views etc etc and dont give up it's a bitch if you get frustrated walk away and come back tomorrow. And read especially the post by jeff mosk, and 3.4 swap 101 by ....jeez I'm tired cant remember I think his name was yotaman .Understand wiring theory as explained my jeff mosk theres only 3 types of wires in a engine positive,negative, and signal good luck everyone
