Using 3.0 Fuse Box bracket mount for swap

I'm not sure this has been covered, but my fuse box did not have the mounting ear that some attach to the engine bay wall I have seen.

If your fuse box does not have this, using a section of the original fuse box mounting bracket will work as it did for me.

The top left corner piece matches the slope of the wheel well perfectly to mount side ways and will attach to the fuse box's screw hole.

Cut that section off.

Then just line up, drill the hole and mount it up........done deal.

I think I'm missing something, why did you need to change your fuse box mount?

Are you still using your 91's fuse box, or the fuse box from the donor?

Or did you just move the original box back closer to the firewall for extra room for the 3.4 air box?

well almost man, it's a 94 and it just didn't mount up like the others I have seen in the pics. The ones I have seen have been able to mount to the engine bay wall with an arm that extends out to screw in. No such luck with mine. Or maybe I am so blind and missed it......It's possible ya know. I guess the 94 didn't have that or something.?

94,95 you need to move to fuse box back as they have bigger fuse box's. I believe this is mainly for 4runners though.

I had to twist mine 90* to clear. Can't recall how I accomplished that though.

Ok, that makes sense if the fuse box is too large and in the way, and I have no idea how I got it in my head that you had a '91, now that I look at your signature, it clearly says '94.

All is good man. I know I look over what is right in front of me frequently as well. Heck, I double check myself 5 times.........and still seem to get things wrong.
