Toyonly wiring harness, still no combustion..

I am just about ready to give up on this 'project' as of tonight. I had a harness buily by toyonly, and have had to send it back once for what we thought was an injector wire in the wrong pin. Cliff and Justin are great guys, but I need more opinions on what is really going on.

i have spark, fuel to the rails, but no combustion. i CAN'T get this beyotch to fire!

Any ideas?

Check compression. Last guy I helped did the timing belt but was off a couple teeth. A weak compression pointed me to that. Have you checked for codes? How do you know you have spark ? Fuel in the rail doesn't mean you have fuel in the cylinders. After cranking for a bit pull the plugs and look at the condition.

timing is most likely off, I changed the belt, but didn't get it perfect. will it not start with the timing a few clicks off? It runs if i shoot gas into the plenum.

for some reason my obd2 port isn't working??? scanner isn't reading it...
i know its getting spark because i have tested with a extra plug.
I don't know that it is getting fuel to the cylinders, I will pull a plug to check.
thanks for the pointers.

If it runs when you spray it, chances are something with your maf isn't working and kicking on the fp through the COR. Try bypassing and hotwiring the fuel pump and see if it runs.

I think he meant kicking OFF the FP.

should the fuel rail have pressure when I crack it open? I cracked it open and turned it over, no fuel is coming from the main line. I am going to try and bypass the COR and hotwire the fuel pump.

hotwired the fuel pump and it runs like a champ! now what are my options? what do i need to do to fix this issue? use a 3.4 COR, or do I just have a bad 3.0 COR? lead me in the right direction knowledgeable ones.

So if I hotwired and it runs, what is my issue? I am kind of lost. Runs great, but holy hell is it loud!
