T/case adapter plate question

T/case adapter plate question
I ordered a T/case adapter plate to put a gear driven t/case behind my 3.4 swap Auto trans, but I just noticed that there were no instructions and also not gaskets. I know some of you are using these adapters. Can anyone tell me if it suppose to come with gaskets or do I just use the silicone that was provided?

I called Marlin Crawler and asked them if there 3.4 adapters suppose to come with gaskets and at first the tech told me yes there are suppose to have gaskets in the kit. Then when I told them mines didn't come with gaskets, the tech said to use the grey silicone that came with the kit. What you guy's think? Should I just use the silicone? Its almost like Toyots FIPG. Or should I go and purchase Toyota gaskets for the 4runner trans and the 4cyl gear driven T/case? The tech said the grey silicone is actually better than the gaskets.

Use the gray silicone. Marlin knows what they're talking about.
Just threw Marlin dual cases behind a w56 trans, sealed the t case adapter with the silicone. Its been about two months now, and no leaks.
I think its sort of like how 85 and down toyotas had an oil pan gasket, then toyota started just using that silicone and scrapped the gasket. I think it works just as good or probably better than gaskets.
