Starting slow 3.4 swap

So i went and picked up the motor out of the donor truck yesterday. It is saweet. (only 86k) Anyways I got the ECU, wiring harness and all that fun stuff. When I got home from the hour long drive I realized I forgot a plug its the one that was in the dash plugged into the ECU furthest to the right. I got everything else tho, Im just a little concerned with that plug. comments? conerns? I will post pics later

My rig is a 1995 runner with 3.slow and the donor truck was a 98 taco. Both are manauls so the ECU should work fine. Another thing I was wondering, do I need the fuse box off the 98? Or is that where all the splicing and fun stuff comes in? Im really itching to get this started so any help is appreciated.
As far as I understand I need to swap oil pans, pick up tubes, sending unit, etc. What else do I need to swap over? I cant afford a custom crossover so Im hoping I can just use the one I have and modify it

One more question, there is a plug coming off the motor that went to a plug in the dash so what do I need to do with that?

I cut it off lol. Okay actually I spliced the few wires I needed to be spliced with the body harness and the ecu and then the rest of the wires I taped up.

Got some things done today. Flipped the fuel lines over to the PS. Also put some washers under the alt. bracket like Elvota did seeing as how Im using the 3.0 alt. Tried cleaning it up a little. I still need the plug for the ECU tho! I don't want to venture too far into it without that. I plan on paying the 10$ something for the TIS site, heard there is TONS of good info on it. Ill get the wiring going and give another update

get the "EWD" for both trucks.

i'm doing a 92 Pickup manual 4x4 to a 98 4Runner 4x4 manual

so i might be able to help with the wiring situation from notes i think the connections and pinouts are the same with the 92-95

let me know... i'm at the wiring part of my build...

I got alot of the wiring mapped out so I can understand it. Guess we'll see what does and doesn't work when I get it started As of right now I am working on doing my custom crossover like Jason 4x4 https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...r-pipe-138902/
All progress has stopped due to lack of cutting disks. Ill give an update after I get the crossover finished.
Ride on

I used the stock evap canister. Check on Elvotra's thread. I think page 10 has the diagram. Works great. Sucked trying to find the right size "t" connectors.
