Some newb questions as I start my swap

Got a complete motor and harness/ECU/etc out of a 96 Taco MT. Went to machine shop and now I'm reassembling it.
I search but couldn't find...

1- If using the 3.0 pan off my 3.0 IFS Runner, is there a reason I can't also just use the 3.0 oil pick up?
2- The 3.0 oil pump bolts right into place on the 3.4 block. Is the 3.4 pump different/special that I need it? Self answered. 3.4 pump has mount for the CPS.
3- I can't tell a difference in the heads. Is there a way to ID driver vs passenger (just went through this saga rebuilding a friends 3.0 and ended up pulling heads after they went on opposite. Not looking to do that again) (was looking back at disassembly photos and was able to ID bolts left in the head for the rear cam caps).

Side question- One of the CPS sensor teeth on the lower timing sprocket is busted off. Anyone got a spare or a good source for one. I'll hit ebay if not. THANKS!

1-You're supposed to use the 3.0 pickup with the 3.0 pan. You have to trim the 3.4 baffle to fit.

2-The pump are outright different. Use 3.4 pump

3- As far as I know, the heads are interchangeable. During a rebuild it shouldn't make a difference where they were originally so long as they are machined correctly.
