replacingjust harmonic balancer
Finishing a 3.4 rebuild (97 4runner) and my harmonic balancer is shot but the actual crank pulley is still good. I called the auto store and they want $200+ for new pulley and harmonic balancer.
I looked online and they sell just the harmonic balancer for $25. It looked similar but I think something was off.
Is it possible to replace just the harmonic balancer? If so....how do I get the old one out and the new one in?
