Power Steering Hose for 22RE - 3.4 in 88 P/U
Did a ton of searching and I know I can use TG's or ORS's conversion hose. I also figured out the cost of building my own with Russell and Aeroquip fittings. They all end up costing about $100 plus shipping.
It looks like I can use a stock hose for a 3.0 equipt 88 p/u or 4runner. I don't have one in hand but I can see a pic on Autozone's site. It's only about $40.
So it seems this will work if I find a 3.0 power steering pump banjo bolt? Anybody got a part number?
Some posts say I need a longer banjo bolt, some say a shorter one is needed. Anybody know for sure? Can I cut my 3.4 banjo bolt down?
This site has been super helpful with my swap so far. I will post up my build to help others doing the 22RE to 3.4 when I'm done.

I used the stock 3.4 stuff from the pump, and the stock lines from the box and grafted them together with a sleeve and then welded it all up. that all worked fine.
Then I changed to the Trail Gear setup. Mainly because it was free.
If I had to pay for it, I would have stayed with the grafted setup.
Cant help on part numbers. sorry. Should be easy to source at a junkyard or from a partout in the classifieds.

Anyway, as far as grafting the PS lines together, I stole the idea from Cadman. His thread is here:

I am not sure what page, but its a good one to look through anyway so take your time.
He documents it well.

I used a stock 3.0 Non-ABS power steering line on both my swaps (87 22RE->5VZ, and 89 3VZ->5VZ) everything lines up, and there are even holes drilled and tapped on the frame for the stock brackets.
Just make SURE you use the 3VZ Banjo bolt to bolt the pressure line to the 5VZ pump. If you try to use the 5VZ banjo bolt with the 3VZ line, it will not seal and puke out all your fluid in about 10 seconds!

Thanks DC. I'll order up that hose. I'll have to try to do a Toyota parts lookup for the banjo bolt.
Haven't had any luck trying to find used 3.0 parts in Tucson. Posted up on CL, local off road forum, texted fellow wheelers, and even tried bone yards. I did find the rear sump pan and pickup at a bone yard for $40.

I even used the stock ABS line. You have to cut the little notch off to turn it in the right direction. There seems to be too much misinformation out there about this, and it's so simple.

The YotaTech gurus are correct. Stock 3.0 Non ABS power steering line fits perfect. Here's some part numbers that may help somebody. I got a hose on Amazon for about $40. Fits perfect.

I also cut down my 3.4 banjo bolt since I can't find any 3.0 parts and I'm just sitting at home waiting for some surgery so I got time to do stupid stuff. I had two 3.4 banjo bolts so here's some pics.
Stock 3.4 and cut down about 3 threads.

Just did it on a belt sander. Had to put a bevel like stock (maybe not since washers should seal it). Used a ball shaped carbide burr.

Here is gap and major leak if you don't shorten it or use 3.0 banjo bolt.

Here is shortened version.
