Oil Pressure Sender Unit

Oil Pressure Sender Unit
Okay, so I got my 3.4 running and everything, after working with electrical wiring issues and stuff. So I had an oil leak, and it turns out my oil pressure sender unit was broken and was leaking.
So I went to buy a 3.0 oil pressure unit. I was happy to plug it in and start it up. The oil pressure gauge just shot up past the right side (real high) and then slowly come back down to the left side (real low). I looked online and saw that someone mentioned "make sure you do not buy an oil pressure switch". I looked at my receipt, "Oil pressure switch." Doh!
Now I'm calling AutoZone, O'reilly's, Napa, Carquest; it seems like nobody sells an oil pressure gauge sender unit. I even checked their online websites, and other places like RockAuto.com. Other than the dealer, where can I get one? I would prefer to get one locally cause I want to be able to return it easily if they give me a wrong one.

junkyard man. That is going to be your best bet. Good luck getting it though. And if you did put a pressure switch on there, then you most likely just fried your oil pressure gauge on your gauge cluster too.
