How much for a new harness?

I've bought complete harnesses from junkyards for $125-200

I bought a new harness from Toyota for my swap for $300 but that's a manual. Auto was $1100. Think their is a difference?

Did you wire things up wire to wire fuse to fuse or did you cut corners and booty fab?

Auto and manual are diff.New from Toyota is $1530.00! I did it right and even added fuses so this cant happen again.Would you believe it burnt all those wires and didn't blow the first fuse?Getting it put back together now, almost done.It still runs, already tried it.

Why did you add fuses? I can't recall adding a single fuse on any swap. Just matching the engine harness to the body harness and using what is already there.

On my 90 4 Runner the yellow wire that goes to the condenser elec. fan is not fused. This part of the harness is stock. It burnt from the fan conn. into the cab and back out to the alt.Not to mention several ground wires. So I added an inline fuse. Its back together now and running good.
