Hey guys finally started my truck tonight after buttoning up the swap. Started quickly no issues and ran great, But the temp guage and oil pressure guage doesnt do anything. I had a guy that use to work for ORS do my wiring harness pigtail so am fairly certain he did it correctly. I swapped the oil pressure sendor from my 3.0 so thats not an issue either. If anybody has any advice or has ran into these issues maybe you could help me out I am itching to drive this thing. Thanks in advance to any advice.

what year is your truck....what year was the donor....stuff like that...

 

My truck is a 93 pickup and donor was a 96 4runner with 99 tacoma ecu and harness. The guy that did my wiring already contacted me about the pigtail but I want to make sure that its the issue before I waste any more of his time. When the rear heater hose started hissing it never spewed any coolant and the guage bounced a little so I dont know if the air pocket that would be in the system would effect that or not.

 

Do you have voltage at the oil pressure sender wire?
Not sure about the temp. mine works fine and I didn't do anything to it.

 

I have a little over 10 volts at the oil sendor plug. I dont know if thats suppose to be that high or not
