L4. Since the 3.0 auto has the transfer case built into it, there is a seperate solenoid for the Low 4 function. I join the 3.0 autoharness right before the rubber ribbed section at the engine side of the harness.

Yes, if you go to the system outline for the ECT EWD it offers an explanation. I rig up a relay to send power to the solenoid when L4 is selected. Keep in mind to explain to customer that he needs to follow the L4 shifting instructions as you bypass the ecu deciding when its safe to shift into L4.

thanks i'll have a look at that ..
also , if you don't mind me asking ... the 94 has a electronic speed sensor instead of a speedo cable .. are you replacing that with the cable an cable driven speedo ? , from what I can see , the t100 is cable driven

No worries, I've done a few of these and try to help others when I can.
Also depending what it goes into, if it was fuel injected then there is a speed signal from cluster that goes to ecu. You match that up as the 3.4 has the same function. Then you either keep the cable speed sensor if it was cable, or if your rig has electric speedo you wire it back up.
