Hold on a second.

My cluster is mechanical. My donor Tranny has electronic.

Is that how yours is?

Maybe I need a Red Bull.

It's pin 20 on IH1 for my truck. I connect that to the pin 20 IE1 to 3.4 ecu. sp1 pin 12A.

You might need to swap the inst. cluster from a limited auto. Those have the elec. Speed signal feed.
If you can swap to gear driven one on the transfer side, that would be better. That way the odometer value doesn't change. I have a brand new speedo cable for 95 4runner if you need one. Maybe contact Marlin about the speedo gearfor auto.

Yeah. We were originally thinking the easiest way to solve was a cluster swap.

I don't know if you're able to swap the electric sensor out for a mechanical one or the other way so you can match mechanical to mechanical speedo, but i was able to do that on the old 3.0 trans.

The trouble with trying to use the electronic speedo, is that because it's not 4wd. The signal comes from the ABS unit instead of the trans.
