98 4runner Swap

I have a 98 4runner ecm MT and auto engine harness which I am trying to transplant into a 1995 4runner which was originally an Auto I think I have about 80% of the wiring from the ewd's figured out but there are some I just don't understand what is going on. EWD's refer to the same connector/pin for more than one thing?

Anyone done this specific swap? ECM is 89661-3D360 if so any help you could provide would be appreciated

I'm not sure if any of the stickied posts were that donor year. Maybe the post by theMonch ?

Mine is a 99 donor, and its not all back together yet so my advice would be worthless. But yes, often a connector serves mulitple functions.

Frequently wires for multiple systems will run through the same connector. Sometimes you'll have the same wire/pin referenced on multiple pages, usually power or ground wires.

I haven't done this specific swap, but have done many swaps and am very comfortable with wiring diagrams. If you have any specific questions, I might be able to offer some insight.

Thanks I think I will take you up on that once I finish going thru the diagrams just as a reassurance that I have not screwed things up
