2000 toyota tacoma m/t 3.4l engine/harness and ECU. I do have an obd2 but don't think it'll read until my engine at least starts? It's capped. Ill try some starting fluid. And ill check the spark tonight when I get home. Sure sounds like she's sparking. Possibly the 3.0 fuel pump. I double checked the grounds. They all seem solid. She just needs a real good run through. Thanks for the help guys. Ill let u know tonight how it goes

Tried starting her with brake clean. Started for a few seconds so she's gotta have spark. Plugged in my scanner. Only one code P1300 igniter circuit malfunction. Need to trouble shoot on that

My bet is your MAF/COR. Something isn't telling the pump to turn on. You can temporarily "hotwire" the fuel pump to stay on with ignition and see if it'll stay running.

Ok so did a little reading. Start here then go to this pretty much. First thing. Ignition coils. So pretty much just checking my spark. 1-5 sparks. 6.....nothing. Swapped over my #1 cylinder coil pack with #5 cylinder coil. 2 sparks go to 6 still no spark. It seems like wiring. My 3.0 ran on 5 cylinders though. I don't know. Back to the books.

Alright. I'm gonna find a guide to Hotwire my fuel pump. Worth a shot. The #6 plug not firing is something different but not why my trucks not starting. I sprayed a ton of brake clean in my intake today and I could probably drive it with brake clean. No fuel getting in for sure. Ill let u guys know how it goes when I get the chance to get into it. Thanks for all the advice. Ya'll are a ton of help, and It's much appreciated.

SHE"S ALIIIIVVVVEEEE!!!!! I started ripping off my intake to check the wiring, then i fiddled with a few things. Changed a couple Grounds around threw her back together. Cut my hood up a bit more, figured before i start trying to Hotwire my fuel pump. Give her one last crank and BAAAM! She fired up. No tachometer or Speedometer but thats alright. Drove her down the street and MAN she laggs. Feels like im runnin a subaru Brat with one cylinder hah. On to the next. She must need some real fine tuning.

Well I've got a lot of codes ill be trouble shooting so hopefully ill figure it out. Po450 Evap canister issues. Po300 multi-cylinder misfire. Po302 misfire cylinder 2 po304 misfire in cylinder 4 po306 misfire cylinder 6 then another po450. I'm either getting no spark or no fuel to one side of my engine. Maybe a bad injector. Back to spark plug testing lol

you can use a stethoscope to listen to the injectors to see if they are firing. If they are then they could just be clogged. Maybe you got the vent line and return lined mixed? Would be worth pulling all the injectors and having them cleaned professionally.

Pull all 6 injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested so they all match. A reputable injector shop will tell you if they are shot or not before cleaning. I know the 96-97 injectors had problems.

Yes I do. Pull up hills now. Not the best on low end but mid and top are extremely good. First time I could do 65 up a summit haha. Used to 3rd gear tacked out with the 20r or 22re's lmao Needs a little bit of tlc here and there but engine is running great. :-D. Well worth it. I'd do it again
