'88 3VZE 5-speed wiring diagram help.

I have posted in a few existing threads for help with this, but I thought it approrite to make my own for a few diagrams that I wanted to post up. These are the two plugs that go from the 3.0 engine harness to the 3.0 body harness on my '88 4Runner. They are both yellow in color. They are diagramed out here while looking ot the body-side connectors with the retaining clips pointed up.

I can't seem to find a wiring diagram that coincides with what I have here. I have an 88 FSM that does not have the 3VZE in it for some reason (hard copy and digital) and I have 90 4runner EWD which is completely different (one plug is dark grey and the other is white) I know that there have been a few 88 3.0 swaps done and am reaching out to anyone that has anything that would help with this.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, that is actually a scanned copy of the hardcopy FSM I have for the '88. But just like the hardcopy, it doesn't have the 3VZE 3.0 in it, just the 22RE

Been having the same issues finding a good wirig diagram for my 89 4runner.
Out of sheer frustration I bit the bullet and bought a full 1989 4runner wiring diagram(book) From the Toyota Material Distribution Center phoe # is 1 800-622-2033
it cost $32.00 delivered to my house. Havn't got it yet, but it better show me what I'm looking for. and they said if its not right I could send it back minus the shipping.

Mechaniman, as I mentioned in my reply to your PM, I too have ordered a hardcopy of my '88 EWD from toyota. It was supposed to be in today. (it wasn't) Now I am being told "maybe a week or two". Hope you have better luck. Let me know if it has what your looking for when you receive it.

Converted to PDF

John was nice enough to send me high-res versions of these scans which I converted into a single PDF document. I's a bit large at 18 megs, but is readable. It's at rapidshare at this link below. Let me know if anyone has trouble getting it.

UPDATE*** New link Below****

Well, I ended getting my EWD book from toyota a week after ordering it. everything is matching up perfectly. I'm making some serious progress. If I can get access to a scanner I'll post them. the Book comes in the same format as Toyotas web version.

Nice glad to hear it. I still haven't got mine yet. I kind of shifted gears and started focusing on getting the donor out.

What vehicle year/model is your donor from?

This
http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/87-4Runne...4runner_88.pdf

and this
http://rapidshare.com/files/44624802...4runner_88.pdf

SAME THING!!!

And this
http://rapidshare.com/files/44624802...4runner_88.pdf

takes WAY longer to download. 83 MBs BTW. AND NO 3VZE wiring diagrams!!!

Slow down there cowboy. Try not to be a di*k when getting something for free. It was a mistake. I uploaded a new document based on the old doc name, which happened to be the same. Here is the version that I created back then. All it is is a higher res version of the Jpegs already in this thread in PDF format. Your welcome.
