3.4L on an engine stand

3.4L on an engine stand
So today was slow at my shop, so I pulled the 3.0L out of my 89 4runner. took me three and a half hours.I am lucky enough to have a lift and all the appropriate tools. left the transmission in the truck supported by a piece of 4x4 between the sway bar and trans. seems to be working pretty good.
Here is my question.... I have one of those three wheel engine stands, its a little more heavy duty then what you would find a Napa auto parts. It works great for VOLVO motors. Do you guys think it would support the full weight of my 3.4L motor with all the goodies. And do you think i would be able to turn the motor upside down while on the stand. It just looks like a hell of alot of weight to try it with. I need to get started pulling the oil pan and start that whole process.
tomorrow I will be pressure washing my engine bay and cleaning everything up. let me know what you guys think about the engine stand thing. thanks erik

thats exactly what I ended up doing. I pulled everything I needed off the 3.0.
today. After getting the 3.0 oil pan off and looking inside. nasty . but I does look like someone had been in there and replaced the main bearings or rod bearings. the rod caps were all marked not like they come from the factory.
Anybody need any 3.0 Parts
tomorrow I'm putting the 3.4 on the stand and dealing with the dipstick tube and all that bussiness.
