Why can't you use the slave for the Tacoma tranny? Some type of clearance issue?

You shouldn't need to touch your slave cylinder at all. You're going to be using your existing tranny, correct? All you need to do is unbolt your engine from your transmission (long extensions and a couple flex joints and a big handle), and pull the motor out. You shouldn't need to do anything but unbolt it from the side of the bellhousing.

Use the flywheel, pilot bearing, and clutch from the 3.4 and the throwout bearing from the 3.0 and you'll be fine. The transmission bolts up directly to the back of the 3.4, even though you may not think it will at first.

I did mine with a hood mod, as the truck is high enough already, for what I do with it. I also have a K&N induction kit that was already on the engine in my donor truck. I did, however, switch over to a TrueFlow air filter on the end of it.

Depends on which cruise control system you have. Mine has a vacuum actuated cruise control and the cable is too short. I have to find another, longer cable, and figure out how to hook it to the vacuum actuator.

No, the ABS is a separate system. And I cut my hood and mounted a scoop of sorts on it.

Yeah here's how I did it, I moved the actuator to the other side:

Crap. I wish I would have known that before cutting my cruise control cable. I was going to ... ah, forget it. I'll just have to see if I can find another one.

Probably varies a bit on each vehicle, but I know a 1" BL would have cleared my intake easily.

Once I cut out the ribbing underneath, I could actually shut the hood without effort and zero BL, but it would have rubbed on the intake pretty bad.

well i am going with a 2" body lift, i will see how my 31's look after the install, if anything i could loosen the torsion bars some and lower it an inch, maybe it would match my sagging rear end then, if i dont like the looks i will have to get some 32's when i wear out the 31's.

Keep in mind that they 3.4 weighs a few pounds more... so that might bring your front end down as well.

I think a 2" BL would require at least 33's to look "right"... but that's just my opinion.
