3.4 Swap into 1992 with 340f auto

Alright so my truck is on its last leg and I am strangely happy as it gives me an excuse to do the 3.4 swap although earlier than planned and get rid of the 3slow. I've been reading up on the swap for a while now and my plan is to try and find a t100 as a donor vehicle. I want to swap in the 3.4 and the automatic transmission from the donor truck (mines slipping or i'd just keep it) and i have a few questions.
1) will I need a new cross member to fit the 340f?
2) to solve the transfer case problem I plan on using one from a t100, this should bolt up to a a340f from a tacoma and a tacoma ecu should still work correct?
3) Will my original drive shafts work or will I have to get those redone as well?
4) I remember reading that with the t100 engine that I won't have to swap oil pans or have to drill a new dipstick hole is this correct?

Sorry if these questions have been answered before but my transmission just started going out last week and so all my research into keeping the a340h kinda went out the window, I'm still looking for all the parts i'll need so if anyone knows of a good place to look around seattle that would also be greatly appreciated

I'm in the middle of my swap. From what I read The A340H will work with T-100 ecu and harness. A340H is a weaker trans. If you get a donor and have the A340F trans you can use a 4 cyl tranfer case to get your right hand drop and will need all the maual linkage and posible adapter**(i'm still checking into that). This forum is plum full of all the info you will need for this swap or it will point you in the right direction. Search, search, and research so you know what you need to do. I looked around for 9 monthes before I found a donor vehicle for a price I was willing to pay.

Yeah that's what I've found too that you can use a 4cyl transfer case and an adapter from marlin, but I want to keep it as stock/uncomplicated as possible. I might end up just rebuilding the A340H though as I need to be done by the end of summer with the swap.

1) Modify it
2) 4 cyl gear driven
3) Modify
4) Correct

You need to do a LOT more research and reading. This swap is a LOT of work.
Just finished one last night.

Thanks for the info wabbit, think I'm going to end up having to keep the A340H for now though as i really don't have time or the budget to due everything right with the A340F. Plus like you said I've still got a ton of reading to do and this will lighten the load a bit.
