3.4 stumped on wiring
1993 3.0 pickup, Donor is a 1998 auto 4runner (3.4) to
Ive gotten to the point in my swap where I need to do wiring. I bought the subscription on TIS to try and get pinouts figured out but the website is seems pretty difficult to understand. Am I over thinking this? Not trying to spend 600$ on a premade harness. Can I purchase the pinouts directly from someone here? TIS is almost no help to me as of now.

Since you paid for the TIS, I say grab everything related to the donor and the receiver. Because stuff is always going to break. and you can get the mechanical parts too. Always a bonus.
I hear you on spending money, and on not wanting to wade into the morass. But even though most swaps - IMHO - have the same basics needs, there are a lot of small oopsies that can get missed. For example, I found my 2nd gen to not be wired like the factory service manual indicated. Crose, but not exacary. So figuring out the A/C (theres a few good threads on here for that), the start/COR parts (ditto), and cruise might be worth your time anyway. Thats why I chose that route.
Ditto on my 99 donor not being as advertised. Might be a thing where both vehicles were made on the cusp of major changes. I think that is common. I had a 530i that had some next gen features, totally not documented. Cash items for dealers.
In fact, I'm probably going to humiliate myself again real soon, and ask for pics of the speed sensor that connects to the transmission. WHICH IS NOT ON THE HARNESS. A little more digging first I think.
