Hey guys i imaging there is a thread for wiring a 3.0 to a 3.4 but could use some help in where to look for it. A buddy of mine told me that someone made a kit that hooks up the 3.4 to the 3.0 wiring or something like that, but im looking for help to point me to the place to look. I hate wiring stuff so if there is akit that makes it easy i like that. Im swapping the 3.0 in my 95 4runner to a 3.4 just thought to give a lil more info. thx for helping me out.

I gotta say that you have some guts at least. You started an ECM controlled motor swap with no idea on how to wire it, or where to get wiring help??

Anyway, there are 100s of threads discussing wiring, or you could pay toyotaswapsonly to do it for you.

 

3.4 swap is DIY or pay someone to do it for you. No way to mske a "3.4 Swap for Dimmies" book that would work for everyone but this section does have a lot of info on various swaps. Gonna have to hunker down and research it for yourself or break out your wallet.

unfortunately Toyota made a lot of changes throughout the years in wiring. Because of this really no two swaps are the same in terms of wiring. The general principles stay the same but the actual wiring in terms of what terminal to what terminal are always going to be different.

When I started my swap I read everything I could get my hands on for the swap hoping that they would interchange. I found that even if you're in the same year sometimes they will be slightly different.
