3.0 header on 3.4

Anyone tried using 3.0 headers on 3.4 to keep the exhaust on the same side? I'm assuming that they are lined up the same...maybe not...

Thanks. I'm going to get aftermarket headers. I'm ok iwith moving the exhaust to the other side. My gas tank is already moved to the rear. I can go either side.

Beware of your clutch slave cylinder. Most bolt on aftermarket stuff for a 3.4 may not clear it.

I guess they test the fitment only on automatic...
So would the straight pipe headers might be better for fitment or the ones that joins together at the back of the engine?...
I'm in CA so I need to put all the O2 sensor back too.

Headers are going to be a tight fit and a PITA all the way around. Be much easier to build a crossover and then if you want go duals from the muffler back. Been there and got the tee shirt.
