Thanks Dale. Thats what I was think 1 line instead of all the ose little ones. Ok looking at your guys photos it doesn't look like anyone moved the cruise control. Now about the air flow sensor. for those that aren't running the stock air box and line what are you doing about the sensor?

If you check out my thread you'll see I moved the cruise to the passenger side. No Issues with it so far. Works fine.

Alright ADD Acuator (and not the lack of attention one
) from my understanding that is a Automatic Disconnecting Differential. Now the 93 4Runner doesn't seem to have a ECU for the 4wd. Is that because it doesn't have one? The Data link connector, what is that? I'm making this sheet for my new IH1 and IH2 harness. Soon as I have everything matched up I will post the sheet so others may refrence back to it if needed, but right now it is a pain. There are wire missing from the harness or extras on the diagram.
Thanks guys.

I pulled the ADD and put manual hubs on, then locked the front sleeve on the axle.

Thanks RobD thats a good article cleared that all up for me. I have a lot of wires comming from the ADD actuator from the tacoma engine. Just tring to figure it all out. Did you guys have wires that didn't match straight across? It seems I have 5 or 6 ADD actuator wires from the tacoma and none from the 4Runner. And lots of other extra wires. It's seems to me that they have stuff all over the place when it should be straight forward. Now I was reading about wiring around here and someone mentioned a bunch of connectors they needed to splice. What are the one I need to splice? I know I'm doing the IH1 and IH2. Which I thought the tacomas corresponding connectors were the IK6 and IK2. Are there other I should be splicing in? Cause that would explain why somethings don't have a partner on the other side of the connector.

Ok. That makes sense because IK6 has 2 wires that are for VSV all the rest go to the 4wd unit. So I now need to figure out the IK1. Thanks RobD
I was just looking through my entire Tacoma diagram and there is no IK1 anywhere on there. So from 97 and 2001 they changed the connector and its name. I have an IK3 just no IK1. And IK3 looks to be for only A/T tacomas.

Here are some pics I took last night.

Removed the cruise control unit. And bolted down the battery tray I made. Then there all the wires I have to plug in still.

The ECM (ECU) all plugged in. I am missing E5 and E6.

Here are the Tacoma plugs that I have to splice to the body harness.
So seeing as work has really slowed down this week. I started to label all the wires that are laying all over the place. You mya find this useful.
A24- ADD actuator
1.L-Y
2.LG
3.G-B
4.W-B
5.R-B_____R-W according to the diagram
6. L-R

So looking at the diagram and looking at my ECM/ECU, the plugs I am missing look like they go to the injectors, data link connector, and a few other things can anyone verify that? You know when they say uncut harness....they were just
There are a few things missing, granted the ignitor and a few other things were damaged from the roll over but next time I will certainly know exactly what I need.

I can send you them when I get home. Cause I find in wierd that I am missing that connector on there.
Update on the power steering pump high pressure line. Things got mixed up with addresses. USPS says that I have it, though I didn't get it so I'm trying to fix that. Other than that things have been at a crawl speed due to me helping my cousin remodel his kitchen and I joined CRP (Castle Rock Players) In a world premier musical. So time is nearly none existent. I will update when I can.

So I sent my 2001 diagram to Rob and he compared it to his 97 diagrams and according to him I need to splice my IK2 and IK3 (Tacoma harness) to my IH1 and IH2 (4Runner)
Big thanks to RobD. So tomorrow I will get all those identified and draw up my splice sheet. I have rehearsal but should be able to manage that.

Yeah looking at it I'm finding it hard for that to be the connector due to the fact that IK3 is mainly for A/T. In which my taco engine is from a manual and is going into a manual. But still thanks Rob for taking the time out of your day to check.

Ok. For the altenator you guys were saying how you use the 3.0 harness because the 3.4 doesn't work. Have any of you thought of also splicing in the 3.4 with the 3.0? I just figure those wires are plugged into something else on the harness at the other end. And I have a black wire in the altenator harness anyone know what that is? Charge warning light? Thats my guess. The diagram shows that as a B-W wire. I can take pics tonight if needed. Other then that been looking at a 2003 Tacoma diagram checking to simularities and there are lots. Just trying to find everything that I need to plug into. Still got to figure out what the other Tacoma body harness plug is called. Trying to find a Tacoma to take some parts off of that I need.
Edit: Ok so I found the connector sheet and compared the IK6 to all the rest. There are 2 other connectors that look like it. IL2 and IH2 and neither one of the are it. So I am going to say that IK6 is the other plug in which case I think I only need 2 wires out of that connector, for the VSV's.
