Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could help.

92 4-runner automatic v6 2wd - 220,000 miles

The Truck starts fine but in the last week or so there is this rapid clicking (from inside the truck it sounds like it is coming from the right side of the cab.). I let it warm up and put it in gear and give it gas the clicking stops, but once I take my foot of the gas it comes back. Even if I let my foot of the gas and let the tranny pull it I get the clicking. I can't seem to locate the noise, it sort of sounds like an electrical lighter like on a gas grill. It doesn't speed up or slow down and it does not change pitch or tempo.

Ok, so then when I come to a complete stop, (no gas, just breaks) it stops clicking.

I checked all of my plug wires and all seem fine, it's been about 6 months since I changed the plugs...

It sounds like the sound a relay might make, my brothers jeep is doing this currently and we are pretty sure it is a relay making the noise, possibly due to a short in the line, something to do with the fuel pump in his case. When you hear it open the hood and check out any fuse boxes, put your hand on the relays, you may be able to feel that clicking.
