I am installing KYB front shocks on my '03 2wd, my question is about the dish shaped washers that surround the rubber bushings. Specifically, the center one... does it go over the lower bushing before the shock is fed thru the upper mounting hole, or does it go under the upper bushing?

okay, can you take a picture of this so I can better understand to what you're referring? i've done a lot of work in the front, and I think I know what you are talking about, but I'm not sure if we're thinking of the same thing. How many dish shaped washers do you have? I believe I had 2 of them, and that one was larger than the other. Is this what you have as well?

 

i looked at the link you posted (but your post isn't here anymore?!?), and i do think it is important that you install that middle washer ....
