Problems with Aisin Hubs
Since i have swaped my ADD to Manual Aisin hubs i have a considerable noise in the front end.
It sounds like something is turning and being off-balanced and making a soft whoophing sound...
The truck doesnt drive any worse, i can tell that there is a small horse power gain in first gear from not having to push the front axel...but this sound has me a little concerned...
any other people had similar problems with the Manual hub conversion?

Never had any noise from my old Aisin hubs. Make sure your's are fully unlocking by observing that the axle shafts are not turning while the hubs are in the Free position. Then go through the hubs and make sure there is nothing rubbing or binding inside:

Noise is heard when the hubs are in unlocked and locked....
i jacked the truck up and made sure that the hubs were working properly.
When the hubs are unlocked, the only item turning is what?.....

When the hubs are unlocked, the only thing turning is your wheel. Your axles should not turn, and your driveshaft should not turn. Mine is noisy at high speed with the hubs locked in, but when unlocked, should be quiet.

The key is to go very, VERY light on the grease. Too much grease is often the cause of problems locking and unlocking the hubs. Not a lot of room in there and too much grease can hold the internal parts together, preventing them from engaging or disengaging properly.
