Power Window Squeal

This sound is driving me nuts & only comes out when it's cold. It only occurs with the front windows when it's nearing or below 0 degrees Celcius.

It's a high-pitched squeal that makes you cringe. It sounds like chalk on chalkboard. I've siliconed the rubber surrounds and taken the door panel apart to oil the slides and hinges. I've looked for grooves on the windows indicating something (like metal) is scratching it, but no spectacular find there.

Other than constantly siliconing both windows & power window parts, does anyone have any suggestions? Thx.

I had a similar problem with one of my old vehicles. I found using lithium grease as the lubricant worked much better than any other lubricant I had tried to rid myself of the cold window squeak. You can pick up a spray can for a few bucks at any auto parts store.
