Meguiar's Tire Gel Question

Yesterday after washing my Tundra and Ajaxing the tires (thanks Corey for the info!) i went to go use my Meguiar's that is a pink gel. Well, the thing is I went to squirt it and water came out. Then I shook it a bit and then it still was watered down, although a slimey pink goo came out, but not like it always does. So my question is, has anyone's Meguiar's tire gel gotten watered down like mine, or did someone savatoge it from my household.

Seriously, I was pissed about it and confronted everyone in my household about it but no one ever likes to take account for their actions, so I never got a straight answer if they did so or not. But anyway I went and bought a bottle of the purple Meguiar's Tire Gloss, pretty descent. Corey what do you use? The pink or purple?

Mohamed, both Meguiar's tire gels the regular, and the Hi-Gloss (which goes on easier and is better) and not pink.
They are purple.

The only pink stuff I can think of from Meguair's is ther car wash.
I use the pink car wash gel.
It's fantastic stuff, and been using it for over 5 years or more now.

So yes, I use the Hi-Gloss stuff which is purple.
I think someone was messing with you and put Pepto Bismo or some other pink stuff in there

You should like the Endurance. I last washed my rig about a month ago, and the tires still look like they were just done.
And that is from driving through the rain too.

No no, they are different colors, I swear, the pink is just regular Endurance and the purple has the label "high gloss" on it. It just the watered down part I have concerns about sabatoge on.

I only had one bottle of the regular, as I liked the Hi-Gloss better.
But I don't remember it being Pink.

Jason B might know, I think he's used both also.

If yours got watery, then someone played a trick on you.
I never have to shake mine up before using it.
Just the chemical makeup of it requires you not to.

No no really it's pink and it has been ever since I first bought it (back in the days of the 4Runner about two to three years ago)...here's a picture of proof. The left side is the box and the bottle with the watered down stuff and the right side is simply the new purple bottle I had to buy.

hard to tell but it is pink

Mohamed, I use to use that stuff, non Hi-Gloss, and I remember it was purple.

Looks like you got a bad batch, or someone played a joke on you.

Uh...Phil...I can't do that after three years...hehe, the purple bottle is what I use now, the pink stuff is just there for decoration now. But thanks anyways.

Have you guys had problems with the gel clumping in the crevices of the side wall and tread? I don’t put a lot on, but I still find small chunks of gel on the side of my truck after driving it.

I use to. It would fling off, and I had to take a towel and wipe it off.
But since I have the Bushwackers on, that does not happen anymore.

But then the stuff just flings off into the fender right? ...Instead of the side ot the truck? Is that normal?

I'm actually thinking about putting some shiney tire goo on my new set of meats to maybe keep them blacker on the sides longer. It would definately be on the sides of my truck since my mudflaps have been in the trash for 3 years. Purple and brown look good together right?
