Wait for a really hot day and take a hair dryer to it. The goal is to heat up the adhesive that holds the sticker one. If you can do that, it should peel of fairly easily. Then use something fairly abrasive (Meguiars Scratch X, rubbing compounds, etc.) to get the left over adhesive/residue off. Then give it a good waxing to protect the paint you just exposed.

I hosed the graphics on my old Tacoma with Bug and Tar remover, then used a hairdryer like the other guys said. Didnt take me that long considering it was 110 that day.

thanks guys, im going to get a scraper and the hair dryer out when i get home.... see if can get them off..
They didnt bother me that bad till they started to fade so they go from gray and black to light gray and dark gray to white as the stripe goes down the side.

I second the use of bug and tar remover, I got a whole bottle of it and after peeling back the stripes (just used a hot sunny day) I removed the adhesive with a cloth and lots of elbow grease. Got a few blisters along the way.

I need to do this soon as well... So with the bug and tar remover, it will disintegrate the sticker or what?
My truck's stickers are BAKED on there. The previous owner didn't do anything to protect it from the sun. I am not worried about the paint either , because it will be resprayed a few days afterward. So what about sanding them off? Or is the bug and tar still easier? Thanks!
And sorry to jack the thread, but I was going to ask this question anyway, so might as well put it here.

They came off easy but the stickey part (glue).
What i did was take a hair dryer and get the end of the sticker hot, then slowley start to peel it off. I also kept moving the hair dryer further down the sticker as i pulled it.
It took me about a hour per side but my stickers where ripped and cracke and chunckes missing so it had to keep starting the process over.
As for the bug and tar remover its used to get the glue off. I also found that alcohol does the same and its like $5.00 cheaper
I had to use my fingernail to scrape with so a plastic razer blade would be usefull.
