help with clutch replacement
I will be replacing my clutch here fairly soon and just thought Id hit the board up to see if anyone in the area that has done a few clutch jobs (especially on a 2nd gen) would be willing to help a guy out? Doesnt hurt to ask, but I understand, it can be a big job I guess. Anyways, thanks in advance! Oh BTW Im in the bay area and am willing to travel around 60 miles or so if I can find someone.
I buy beer and lunch sound good?

I have a buddy with a 2nd gen that also needs a new clutch and was wondering what options he had. Is the OEM clutch the best one to use? I don't know much on the subject because I've got a slush box... ;D

I think most people would say go OEM. I bought mine from Marlin Crawler. Haven't put it in yet, so i cant say if I like it or not.

no, I dont think so. Its just the stock clutch as far as I know. I couldnt afford the more agressive one with more holding power and all that.

i have a centerforce dual friction and i love it, but i also drive really hard as well......
the oem clutch is jsut that, oem, no extra aggressiveness or anything

When I replaced mine not too long ago I put the heavier centerforce flywheel and the centerforce clutch in. Both work great. Notice a little better takeoff from a stop with the heavier flywheel.

How heavy are we talking about? What is the OEM flywheel weight compared to the centerforce? I wanna weigh mine now
