Funky rattling noise under neath the steering...

Funky rattling noise under neath the steering...
this rattling noise is coming from drivers side firewall/steering colum. I checked underneath and checked all the relay and stuff are in place. It not a sqeek, sounds like a plastic box is hitting against the firewall causing a rattle. I just cannot locate it and it's annoying me! any ideas?

i had the same symptoms. check your heat shield around your engine to see if it is hitting anything.. mine was tapping on a brake line and i thought it was something plastic in the dash! drove me nuts until i found it.
