cigarette lighter

One day as I was heading towards school i decided to plug in my cd player in my cig lighter and use my car kit, but no power was coming out of my cig lighter. I checked the fuse and its pristine. Is there a way i can fix this without having to go to the stealership? And BTW I have a limited 2nd gen 4wd if that matters at all.

There's also a inline fuse hidden behind the cig lighter or dash. Do a search for some more detail on this. I'd search for you, but I'm sick and don't feel like doing anything.

Pull the trim from around the lighter & follow the wire(s) plugged into the back of it. You'll see the in-line fuse he's talking about. If that's not it, then you or a passenger probably kicked a wire loose - look for any hanging down where it could get snagged.
