Advise needed on head

Advise needed on 22re head
Got a used 22re motor and am replacing all gaskets, filters, water pump, etc. Since I will have the head off for a new head gasket, I'll take it to a machine shop. What should I have done besides planing the surface? (I never had work done at a machine shop before, don't know WTF to ask for?)

You dont necessarly have to have the head decked unless there is warpage, but it should definatly be checked.
Just have a basic service done on it.

As stated above, unless you warped the head, all you really need are new valve seals. "valve job"
