So recently i decided to buy a parts truck so that i could have a second transfer case and could put in a dual transfer case in my truck but when i bought it i figured i might as well swap the motor and transmission as well. the parts truck is a 92 toyota pickup with a 2.4 L 22 re motor and 5 speed manual transmission and my 1985 4runner has the same 2.4 L 22re motor and 5 speed transmission but when i got it all in place the plugs to the wiring harness are different so i kept the new one and plugged it into the computer but when i try to start it it sounds like the battery is dead and the starter wont turn over but i dont know what the problem is. ive read alt of forums saying you have to switch all the injectors and the whole fuel injection system to avoid this but is there any way i can get around that because i already sold the other motor.
