4Runner Engine Swap

Alright, so I've got a 1992 V6 3.0L 4Runner, she's currently stock height on 31" Toyos but I'm fixin' to do a 4-5" Rough Country suspension lift and put her on 33"s and I know my little P.O.S. V6 motor ain't gonna push them tires real well plus I'll be getting like 7mpg. So I'm looking for suggestions on what other Yota motor I should put in her to make her functional and have more power. Ideas?

But will that motor make it beastly or should I just put like a small block Chevy in it? 'Cause I mean, if I'm gonna do this I wanna do it right.

33's aren't that big. If geared properly, the 3.0 will handle them without a problem. There is guys running 40's with the 3vze or 22re.

The supercharged 3.4 is a great proven swap, and there is some great 7m builds as well.
