i am doing this swap next week so i was wondering if there is anything i need to know about doing this?
mine is a 1988 pickup
the donor is a 1987 4runner

 

Your just swaping the engine or are you swaping other things...

 

#1 Be organized (have a few parts bins for nuts and bolts)

#2 Try to complete it in 1 day so that you dont forget about this or that.

#3 Have a camera at hand. If you are unsure about something take a picture so that you can look at it later ( vacume lines, wires ect..)

#4 Buy a case of beer.

#5 Be safe. If your iffy about it DONT DO IT!
