ive got a baja bug with no engine and half a 22r doing nothing in my garage. I thought it would be sweet to put it in the bug. i would guess the hardest part would be finding an adapter to the vw transaxle if it even hold up. another difficulty i can see is building the mount/rear bumper to hold it up. im curious to the wiring that would be involved. I wouldnt have to put any of the smog stuff on but would i still need parts of a toy harness? Or would i just need a few wires i could just run to the bug? im debating on this, but i think it sounds pretty cool

 

geeeze--just do a pinto engine swap in the thing...flywheel alone would be a pain in the butt.
